If you are here then that means you are taking your first steps on the path to healing. Healing is not a destination but a journey and it is one that looks very different for each individual. There is no one-size-fits-all approach to mental health, therapy is as much an Art as it is a Science.
Here at Durbin Family Therapy our mission is to provide mental health services that embody compassion and cultivate healing of the individual, family, and community. We strive to be at the forefront of new and innovative practices while being trauma-informed, collaborative, and evidenced-based.
Whether you prefer to meet with a provider in-person, telehealth in order to navigate barriers to access care, or maybe you need a little bit of both, we will meet you where you are at. We offer flexible options and work with you to provide the best possible service we can.

Most of us have experienced some level of trauma in our lives, whether that be at a very young age or later in life. Trauma is a life event that can significantly impact our mental health and our daily lives. We believe it is important to promote a safe and supportive environment so that you and your loved ones can heal.

Not every family is the same and every family can look very different, however, every family has their struggles. We understand the importance of bringing families together and promoting healing. Whether that be healing from intergenerational trauma or healing from a traumatic life event.

It takes time for children and youth to develop emotional maturity and the skills necessary to cope with every day life stressors. When children have been through trauma it can stunt their ability to develop normally. Thankfully, with the right guidance and support, we can help get them back on track.
